Executive produced by Emmy-winner Thandie Newton, and produced by Oscar-winner Daniel Junge, Liyana features innovative animated artwork by Shofela Coker and an original score by Philip Miller. A genre-defying documentary, Liyana tells the story of five children in the Kingdom of Eswatini who turn past trauma into an original tale about a girl who embarks on a perilous quest to save her young twin brothers. The film weaves her animated journey together with poetic documentary scenes to create an inspiring story of perseverance and hope. (Swaziland, 2018, 77 Mins., English | Dir. Aaron Kopp & Amanda Kopp)

Larry Hohler founded the not for profit 501C3 Hope Children's Fund in 2005, along with his former student and Kenyan Activist Joseph Kirima, to help AIDS affected homeless children.  Its orphanage now cares for more than 80 children in Meru, Kenya.
