Bagpipes Calling! Charts a day in the life of the Northport Pipe and Drum Band, led by filmmaker/musician Andrea Wozny as she explores the music and community of Irish Folk Musicians and Scottish Highland Bagpipers on Long Island. The film documents a group of passionate people from all walks of life who come together to play the pipes, culminating in the band’s performances for St. Patrick’s Day in Blue Point Long Island. This never-before-seen documentary honors the talent of Long Island folk musicians, while celebrating the warmth of local community. 30 Min.
