Elijah Jalil is a Black & Filipino social justice artist currently based in Missoula, MT. As a singer-songwriter, he released his debut album, Nothing to Say, in collaboration with professional musician, Britt Arnesen and other local artists. Growing up in the Bay Area, Elijah’s influences are rooted in R&B, Hip-Hop, and Soul music, and this album explores that while merging with the predominately white genres of Folk, Americana, and Bluegrass to create a truly original sound. This album is one of the many avenues Elijah is taking to forge his own path on his journey to change the world – intentionally, leading with love.
Britt Arnesen is a Montana folksinger, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. Her latest projects are Nothing to Say by Elijah Jalil and a solo gospel-inspired album, Move in Closer.
