Cooperative Extension & Suffolk County Farm and Education Center are
excited to present a FREE and FUN family-friendly evening at the movies! Join
us for an outdoor screening of the independent documentary film, Farming
Long Island - and remember to bring picnic blankets and chairs! This
screening will include free wagon rides, a live Blues jam featuring musicians
from The Sound Cellar, food from Eat Me Drink Me food truck, a movie-poster sale, and panel & director
discussions, along with some other fun surprises!
Farming Long Island, from
director Dom Aprile focuses on the diverse local agriculture industry of Long
Island, NY, the challenges that farmers are facing today, and the importance of
supporting local industry and land conservation.
