Edward Everett Horton is remembered today for his fussy on-screen character in Hollywood sound films such as Top Hat (1935) and Arsenic and Old Lace (1944), and as the narrator of Fractured Fairytales from the Bullwinkle animated series. Horton’s early film career as a silent slapstick comedian is almost entirely unknown, despite having appeared in dozens of silent comedies in the 1920s. These culminated in eight starring two-reelers made at the tail end of the silent era, and were produced by no less than Harold Lloyd. The Edward Everett Horton comedy shorts have not been seen by the general public in 95 years, and have recently been digitally restored by Ben Model's Undercrank Productions from 35mm camera negatives preserved by the Library of Congress. Three of these hilarious, unseen gems will be presented in this program – Find the King (1927), Scrambled Weddings (1928) and Dad’s Choice (1928).

Tickets are limit one (1) per order. Advance registration may be made any time prior to the start of the event. Ticket-holders may enter the live stream by returning to this page and signing in to their Cinema Arts online account to bring up the “Enter Live Stream” link.
