Description

About Vicenta B

Lately, Havana seems like an empty city. In its streets we only find lonely mothers and grandmothers, as in those war stories where all sons had gone off to war. War in Cuba, came in the form of emigration, everyone leaves in pursuit of a more auspicious future.

Vicenta Bravo is a 45-year-old Cuban who has the special gift of unraveling people’s future by throwing the cards. Every day, she welcomes at home, people with all sort of tribulations, in search for a solution to their problems. Vicenta lives with her only son. They live harmoniously together until he, too, decides to leave the country. Then, everything begins to fall apart. While immersed in a crisis that does not allow her to see what is going on around her, Vicenta departs for a voyage to the heartland of a country where everyone seems to have lost their faith.
