FILIPIÑANA

Seventeen year old Isabel has left the rural north behind for a job at one of Manila's most exclusive country clubs, lining up golf balls for powerful men amid stifling heat and a drought that's drying up everything else in the country. Between shifts, she drifts through the club's manicured grounds, sampling luxuries she'll never own, watching industrialists and expatriates and pampered wives move through their private paradise. But when Isabel tries to return a misplaced golf club to the club's patriarchal director, Dr. Palanca, she finds herself drawn into something far darker than a simple errand.

First They Came for My College

Q&As ON THE FOLLOWING DATES: - 9/18 @ 7:00 PM - 9/19 @ 6:00 PM - 9/20 @ 2:00 PM Director Patrick Bresnan spent a year embedded at New College of Florida, tracking what happened after Governor Ron DeSantis appointed a slate of new trustees, including Christopher Rufo, in 2023 with an explicit mandate to remake the small liberal arts school. Built from hundreds of hours of footage, much of it shot by the students themselves on iPhones Bresnan handed out, the film follows the dismantling of the college's gender studies program, a wave of faculty departures, and the students who kept showing up anyway: tending campus gardens, running the student newspaper, organizing an alternative graduation when the official one no longer felt like theirs.

HOPE

A tiger attack. That's all it's supposed to be. In the remote village of Hope Harbor, near the fortified edge of the Korean DMZ, police chief Bum-seok (Hwang Jung-min) and rookie officer Sung-ae (Hoyeon) are called out to investigate dead cattle and a suspected predator on the loose. Deep in the surrounding forest, a local hunting party led by Sung-ki (Zo In-sung) sets out to track the creature down, only to realize they're the ones being hunted. What starts as a routine emergency spirals fast, and what the town is really facing has nothing to do with any animal anyone has ever seen before.
