Thank you for helping us safeguard the historic Hollywood Theatre. For a full 15 months, the theatre remained dark for the longest period in its history since it opened in 1926. We were finally able to reopen at limited capacity on July 2, 2021. Ticket revenue is still down by over 40%, so the financial impact of the pandemic on our operations is ongoing. Your support is deeply appreciated.
In addition to preserving the historic Hollywood Theatre, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit serves the Portland community by offering hundreds of high-caliber film events every year, hosting numerous ongoing film festivals and series, and supporting established and emerging filmmakers through our fiscal sponsorship program. We also operate the Hollywood Theatre airport microcinema at the Portland International Airport and the iconic Portland video store Movie Madness. Your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
