Project Website

A feature-length personal documentary film about filmmaker Lawrence Johnson’s (Stuff) experience in the Vietnam War and his inter-continental search for a Vietnamese bar girl named Candy who may have given birth to his child. His guides -- an ex-pat New Yorker, a young Vietnamese woman and an Amerasian abandoned by her American father -- illuminate the legacy of the war: broken families, unfinished lives and leftover children.
