Come see some very funny kids as they perform original standup routines developed during a Stand Up & Learn workshop. If you are new to the Nantucket Comedy Festival, this is what it’s all about. Festival proceeds fund Stand Up & Learn workshops throughout the year. Through Stand Up & Learn, kids gain confidence, courage and creativity to write and perform their own stand-up material. That’s why we kick off every Nantucket Comedy Festival with the Kids’ Show.

The Nantucket Comedy Festival is the premier fundraising event for the Stand Up & Learn Children’s Education Program.  Accordingly, we kick off the Festival each year with the Kids’ Comedy Performance where kids perform original comedic material that they wrote, rehearsed and developed themselves while gaining skills in public speaking, creative writing and self-confidence through Stand Up & Learn.  Come see this great show - it’s why we are all here.
