The Roxy Theater opened its doors in 1937. Eighty years later, we're still going strong. And to celebrate our oaken anniversary, we're showing a double feature of gems from 1937.

Better yet: Admission is just what it was in 1937: 25¢, so bring a quarter!

Best of all: Missoula's own Red Onion Purple will be playing songs from the 1930s at intermission!

The very first film to ever play at the Roxy, Arizona Days stars singing cowboy screen legend Tex Ritter as the quick-gun enforcer of a traveling music show.

One of the Marx Brothers' most famous and beloved films, A Day at the Races is an uproarious screwball comedy set amidst the world of high-stakes horse racing.

We'll also be showing 1937-vintage cartoons, trailers, and newsreels. Come out and see just how far the Roxy has come since its founding!
