Jimi Hendrix’s and Otis Redding’s performances at the Monterey Pop Music Festival in 1967, documented and directed by D.A PENNEBAKER. Hendrix, an unknown at the time shocked audiences with his raw talent and on-stage antics while Otis Redding serenaded the ‘love crowd’ in the last major performance of his career. Both Jimi and Otis include some of their most popular hits like “Purple Haze”, “Foxy Lady”, “Shake”, and “Try A Little Tenderness."
