Brittany will graduate with her MFA from the University of Iowa's Nonfiction Writing Program this spring. A former broadcast journalist, Brittany is deeply interested in the ways that film can capture the essayist impulse. She is currently at work on a book-length project about menacing things in western Pennsylvania, which is also her home.
Leah is a Visiting Assitant Professor of Film Studies in the Department of Cinematic Arts at the University of Iowa. Her recent book review of Delphine Benezet's The Cinema of Agnes Varda: Resistance and Eclecticism can be found in SubStance.
Thomas was born in Stanford, Kentucky. He attended Grinell College, graduating with a BA in Studio Art. While more permanently residing in Iowa City, he is currently an MFA candidate at Indiana University's Hery Radford Hope School of Fine Arts in Bloomington, Indiana
