Jules and Vincent (Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta) are hitmen out to retrieve a suitcase of extreme value for their employer, mob boss Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). Marsellus asks Vincent to entertain his wife Mia (Uma Thurman) while he is out of town and pays off a has-been boxer, Butch (Bruce Willis), to lose his next fight. These seemingly unrelated events cause the lives of these characters to intersect in wildly surprising, often macabre, and sometimes deadly, unforgettable ways. Winner of both the 1995 Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Screenplay, Roger Ebert wrote, “Like Citizen Kane, Pulp Fiction is constructed in such a nonlinear way that you could see it a dozen times and not be able to remember what comes next.”
