Movie Mockers:
Funny folks filleting films. Join our crew of local comedians on couch and the mic as they joke their way through a new cinematic atrocity. This month, the Movie Mockers (John Howard, Kyle McAfee, Sarah Aswell, and Aaron Roos) take on the extremely 90's martial arts epic, MORTAL KOMBAT.
Lord Rayden handpicks three martial artists -- federal agent Sonya Blade, Shaolin monk Lui Kang and action movie sensation Johnny Cage -- and mentors them. After intense training, Rayden transports the trio to Outworld, the site of an inter-dimensional fighting tournament. There, the three humans must defeat the demonic warriors of the evil Shang Tsung -- or allow Tsung to take over the Earth.
Join the Mockers before the movie for a BIG-SCREEN Sega Genesis OG Mortal Kombat tournament, soundtrack provided by our own DJ Rizzo. The winner will receive a Star Membership to The Roxy! The tournament begins at 7:00, the movie at 8:00.
All proceeds for this event will go to support BASE, Missoula's only all-abilities community center.
