From the directors of March of Penguins comes a documentary of growth and survival in the changing arctic. Narrated by Queen Latifah, Arctic Tale tells the story of Nanu the polar bear and Seela the walrus, who will not only bring joy to your day, but also instructively teach a very important lesson about the Earth’s climate, specifically global warming. Created by wildlife filmmakers Adam Ravetch and Sarah Robertson, the film is a collaboration with National Geographic’s Natural History Unit, who shot over 500 hours of footage in fifteen years. The cinematography is outstanding and an incredible touch to this insightful documentary. Arctic Tale informs the audience about the challenges animals in the arctic face with a whole-hearted and compassionate touch. This film is suitable for ages 6 and up.
