"Love him or hate him, Mr. Ferrara is one of the few directors who can turn genre movie making into something deeper."
- Caryn James, The New York Times

"As always, it's mesmerizing to watch Ferrara go for broke." - Peter Travers, Rolling Stone

WINNER: Best Film - Malaga International Week of Fantastic Cinema

Christopher Walken, Lili Taylor (The Conjuring) and the director of Bad Lieutenant give you this major stylish work of '90s indie horror, a mashup of Godard and Bram Stoker, a feast of philosophy and East Coast hip-hop

In the midst of his most prolific, hard-hitting burst of filmmaking (basically that whole decade), Abel Ferrrara crafted this loving portrait of New York and hellish portrait of heroin through the darkest poetic lens. As Giuliani's "Disneyfication" of city takes root, a morbid grad student (Taylor) is bitten by a vampire seductress (Annabella Sciorra) and must navigate the shadows while tempering her growing addiction to blood.

Filmed beautifully in black and white, The Addiction sees Ferrara on his own terms and at his very best: raw, shocking, intelligent, masterful.
