Jim (Cillian Murphy) awakens from a coma to an empty room in a vacant hospital in a deserted London. A highly contagious virus has thrown society into chaos as it turns victims into murderous, raging creatures. Jim must band together with a handful of survivors (including Moonlight’s Naomie Harris and renowned Irish actor Brendan Gleeson) who must fight to stay alive unaware that the worst is yet to come. Danny Boyle injected an adrenaline shot into the zombie genre with this kinetic horror film written by frequent collaborator Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation).
