Sighs from the Depths: A Cult Classic in the Re-Making

To be faithful. To honor. Or to refocus in a whole new direction? Screenwriter David Kajganich (The Terror, A Bigger Splash) discusses re-setting the stage of Dario Argento's horror classic Suspiria, in theaters November 2. Clips from the forthcoming film will be included in the discussion.

Screenwriter David Kajganich came to filmmaking from a background in literature, and graduated from the fiction program at the presigious Iowa Writers' Workshop. Since beginning his career as a screenwriter, he has written projects for nearly every major studio. His work includes television series The Terror (AMC), films The Invasion (Warner Bros., 2007) and A Bigger Splash (Fox Searchlight, 2016). Kajganich is in Iowa City thanks to a new University of Iowa initiative in television writing.
