It's a fur-to-riches story as Danny (Scott Bakula), a spunky, wise-crackin' cat with moves like Fred Astaire, heads to Hollywood on a quest to overcome the "species barrier" and become a dancing movie legend. Equal parts parody and homage to Hollywood films, Cats Don’t Dance was Warner Bros.’ response to Disney’s hegemony over animated films. While it didn’t topple the House of Mouse’s reign, the film did become the first non-Disney movie to win Best Feature at the Annie Awards and is filled with rousing numbers, cute critters, and a meaningful message about pursuing your dreams no matter the odds. This film is suitable for ages 6+
