Kirill Mikhanovsky’s startling film adopts the breakneck pace of the medical transport Vic navigates through innumerable obstacles and his début has the anecdotal freshness of a recent arrival looking in (think Milos Forman’s Taking Off). Marxist (of the Groucho variety) to the core, here’s a timely reminder that, for many, the American Dream remains as elusive as it is alluring.
