Centering on the origin of Batman’s iconic arch nemesis, Joker is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen and inspired by Scorsese’s Taxi DriverRaging Bull and The King of Comedy. Oscar-nominee director Todd Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale. Arthur finds it impossible to follow his mother’s advice to smile and put on a face, asking himself: “Is it me or is it crazier out there?” Oscar-winner Robert De Niro plays a talk-show host who becomes a catalyst as Arthur's life spirals out of control. Joker won the prestigious Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and played at the Toronto Film Festivals. CGAC hosts the exclusive South Florida 70mm presentation.

For the safety of our staff and patrons, masks, facepaints, and toy weapons are not allowed in the Cinema. Our staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not comply with this rule.
