"It's a ton of fun for fans of SOV horror (and Bryan and Renee Harmon, of course), and the new score is absolutely dead-on perfect. Hats off to Bleeding Skull for exhuming movies like this for future generations to scratch their heads over!"
- Jason Coffman, Daily Grindhouse

"The scholock never outwears its welcome at just over seventy minutes, and there are too many hilarious supporting characters and moments to recount." - Teenage Frankenstein

"Jungle Trap is a mondo masterpiece, a terrific terrible with a heart of gold (skull) and a kickass soundtrack from a colorfully careered director who now has this blast from a past as his legacy film." - It's Bloggin Evil

Beginning in the '70s, Bryan moved from adult erotica to action epics like Lady Street Fighter, to drive-in horror masterpieces like Don't Go in the Woods. By the late '80s, the straight-to-video distribution gold rush was gradually evaporating, a realization he had only after he'd completed principal videography on Jungle Trap: a particularly bizarre undertaking that he'd tackled with his longtime creative partner, Teutonic producer/actress Renee Harmon (think Madeline Kahn's "Lily Von Shtupp" from Blazing Saddles). Heartbroken, Bryan shelved the movie and never directed again.

Under Bryan's guidance, the dedicated weirdos at SOV bible Bleeding Skull have taken all of the movie's elements and reconstructed the "final cut"! Plus, a new score for the film was recorded by Taken By Savages, using '80s synthesizers to emulate the era's sound. In its raw state, the movie was HUGELY entertaining - but it's a monumental video era triumph in its long-delayed final form.
