Emily Vey Duke and Cooper Battersby present a program of their literary post-punk short movies as part of the Headroom Screening Series. Duke and Battersby's work has shown at the Whitney Museum, the Walker Center, the Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia, the Power Plant, the Musee d'Art Contemporarian Montreal, the New York Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the International Film Festival of Rotterdam.

This screening will include their 2019 work You Were an Amazement on the Day You Were Born which has shown at Rotterdam, the Berwick Film and Media Festival, the Camden International Film Festival, Ji.Hlava International Documentary Film Festival, and the Antimatter Film Festival. In 2011, Duke and Battersby were shortlisted for the Sobey Art Award, Canada's most prestigious prize for artists under 40.

Both filmmakers will be present for a Q&A following the screening.
