This April Fool's Day, spend some time with some good friends... who have some time to kill.

"April Fools Day was certainly one of the last big budget non-independent efforts from the decade and arguably one of the first self aware features to play it straight. It’s much like Scream in the sense that it is subtly mocking a well known formula, but it handles the use of cliche for the most part superbly and it all makes sense in the end." - Luisito Joaquín González, A Slash Above...

"This is a sparkling gem in the late-slasher wasteland, and an interesting precursor to the self-referential wave that Scream would introduce later. It's kind of in the dull gray area between the straight slasher and the wink-wink sendups of the renaissance -- call it Camp Crystal Light." - CampBlood.org

"A jocular horror film about a group of college students who spend a horrible April Fool's weekend together." - Vincent Canby, The New York Times

From the producer of Friday the 13th Parts III, IV, and V comes another terrifying horror film.  When Muffy St. John invites her college friends for a weekend at her parents' secluded island mansion, they're all ready to party - but the joke is on them.  One by one, the guest list is slashed... and people start vanishing.  Someone's either playing a vicious April Fool's prank, or there's a real killer on the loose.  Either way, these teens are racing the clock, dodging a potential maniac and dying to get off the island alive.
