This September, the Roxy celebrates its 10th anniversary as Missoula's Community Cinema with a month of special screenings and events. Mad Max: Fury Road: Years after the collapse of civilization, the tyrannical Immortan Joe enslaves apocalypse survivors inside the desert fortress the Citadel. When the warrior Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) leads the despot's five wives in a daring escape, she forges an alliance with Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), a loner and former captive. Fortified in the massive, armored truck the War Rig, they try to outrun the ruthless warlord and his henchmen in a deadly high-speed chase through the Wasteland.
Talk about a film that needs no introduction--over the years we've shown this movie in color, black-and-white, even in a ballpark. One of the greatest action films not only of the past 10 years, but of all time, Mad Max: Fury Road smoked the competition to be named the Roxy's community's favorite film of 2015. Witness it!
