Roman Polanski;'s iconic horror film begins with Guy and Rosemary Woodhouse (John Cassavetes, Mia Farrow) moving into an unsettling apartment building in NYC. Strange events and peculiar neighbors plant seeds of concern in Rosemary’s mind. Then, after having a terrible dream in which a frightening creature attacks her, Rosemary becomes pregnant. With Guy becoming more and more distant, the young and naïve Rosemary alone must worry for the safety and the soul of her baby. Although there is no excessive violence and gore, as was the trend at the time, Rosemary's Baby is intense in content and truly one of the great horror films of the 60s.
