"The central themes of illusions, dreams and going on extraordinary adventures are enduring." —Little White Lies

"In truth, any opportunity to see the film on the big screen is welcome." —Entertainment Weekly

"Any reason to show your children The Wizard of Oz on the big screen seems like a good one." —Newsday

When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and along the way they meet a Scarecrow that needs a brain, a Tin Man missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage.

Admission is free and open to the public. Seating will be first-come-first-served for all FilmScene in the Park screenings, with movies beginning at sunset. Healthy and safety protocols will be in place including social distancing aided by painted markers on the lawn. The city-wide mask mandate will be enforced when moviegoers are not eating or drinking. FilmScene's indoor restrooms will be available for use, and concessions will be available for purchase at all FilmScene in the Park screenings.
