Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, Licorice Pizza takes us to San Fernando Valley in 1973. Young love is in the air as we follow high schoolers Alana Kane (Alana Haim in her acting debut) and the young actor Gary Valentine (Cooper Hoffman, son of the late great frequent Anderson collaborator Philip Seymour Hoffman). Rounding out the cast is Bradley Cooper who plays hairdresser and producer Jon Peters who had an on again off again relationship with Barbara Streisand into the early 80s.
