Step back in time at Drums of Liberty: Revolutionary War Weekend, happening Saturday, June 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities. This family-friendly event features a living history encampment with the 2nd and 6th North Carolina Regiments, performances by the Guilford Courthouse Fife and Drum Corps, Boyd House tours, lectures, children’s activities, and more. Enjoy specialty cocktails from BHAWK Distillery while exploring interactive exhibits presented in partnership with organizations like the Daughters of the American Revolution and House in the Horseshoe. This event is made possible in part by support from Visit Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen.

A co-leader of the acclaimed San Francisco jazz-rock group OM Trio (1999–2004), he remains active today as a performer and recording artist. His newest album, Level Up (February 2025), features Felix on organ, Tim Fischer on guitar, and Evan Martin on drums.
