Wiggle, Giggle, and Grow( ages 3-7) Is a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) class disguised as a dance class! Created with thought for students who love to move, wiggle, and play, this class will satisfy all of their antsy and energetic needs. Sneakily though, this class will also support your young one in developing SEL skills such as awareness of personal space, emotional awareness, emotional regulation, listening, cooperation, and more! Kidco: Aristocats( Ages 8-16) Calling all performers from 8-16 years old to join TCT’s production of “the Aristocats ' this Winter & Spring! There is NO entry audition necessary, you do NOT need to be enrolled in another class to participate, and EVERY student is guaranteed a spot. With featured roles and ensemble parts new and experienced performers alike are certain to find a place in The Aristocats. Based on the beloved Disney animated film, and featuring a jazzy, upbeat score, Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS is a non-stop thrill ride of feline fun, complete with unbelievable twists and turns. In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat, and her three little kittens. Laughs and adventure ensue as the greedy, bumbling butler pulls off the ultimate catnap caper. Now it's up to the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O'Malley, and his band of swingin' jazz cats to save the day.

Young puppeteers Collective (Ages 8-13) Interested in bringing creatures to life? Do you like to make and use funny voices? Come join our Young Puppeteers Collective and learn to use all different kinds of puppets to create characters and tell stories! Students will learn how to animate finger puppets, glove puppets, hand puppets, and even shadow puppets to entertain their friends and family. Students will also learn how to bring a character to life through their voice, completing the illusion! Participants will even get to keep their favorite puppet from our puppet stock to take home at the end of the session.

Young Video Game Developers Collective( Ages 10-16) Intended for students interested in video games, world creation, and creating characters we now have the Young Video Game Developers Collective! Students will work together to theorize their own video games - where they are in charge of everything! Students will decide the theme of the game, the type of game, the characters in the game, and more. Participants can expect to draw, write, and potentially even act out parts of the game they design and develop it as part of the collective.

Mini and Me ( Ages 0-3) Mini & Me is an intergenerational program where adults and their young ones come to move, groove, and grow together! Participants will spend sessions acting, drawing, singing, dancing, stretching, and meditating together while they learn about the world around them. Designed for families of any make-up, as long as there is at least one adult and one young one, you are invited to join us! Connect with our community of young learners as they experience their bodies and their feelings while learning about their family, friends, community, and world around them!

Act Out: Marvelous Myths( Ages 3-5) ACT Out(Marvelous Myths) is designed for creative, dramatic, and energetic students interested in learning the basic tools of acting and using their imaginations. Students can expect to learn and demonstrate the 5 tools of the actor - concentration, cooperation, imagination, body, and voice - through various games and activities. Our professional teaching artists [we] create the perfect environment for students who are looking to make new friends, move their bodies, and make some noise! Students will explore and express these new skills by bringing to life marvelous myths from around the world - and maybe even create their own! Join us at the end of the session for the student-driven informal performance where the students will imagine and execute their own story to perform.

Class: Legends, Sagas, and lores( Ages 8-13) Legends, Sagas, and Lores is developed for students fascinated with all things fantastical! Pulling from tales told by those all around the worlds of fiction and non-fiction (greek mythology, norse mythology, african mythology, Harry Potter, Peter Pan, etc.) students will explore stories that have grown into much more than just words. Through the 5 tools of the actor - concentration, cooperation, imagination, body, and voice - participants can expect to bring elements of these legends, sagas, and lores to life! Join us at the end of the session for the student-driven informal performance where the students will imagine and execute their own story to perform.

MiniCo is designed for students ages 3-7 who are interested in exploring performance opportunities and building performance skills (and graduating to KidCo!). As opposed to a semester-long KidCo class, MiniCo classes are only 8 weeks long, so there will be 2 MiniCo classes to every KidCo class. MiniCo students will learn theatre basics including stage directions, blocking terminology, projection skills, and more. MiniCo students will also learn and perform a number from the current KidCo show! Winter MiniCo performers will learn “The Aristocats” from The Aristocats Kids. MiniCo students will perform their number at the end of their 8 week class AND will have the optional opportunity to return to the stage with the KidCo students as part of the ensemble for their production on May 24th!

Young Set Designers Collective( Ages 8-13) Like to work with your hands? Do you enjoy making things? Ever go to a show but you can’t pay attention to anything other than the set? You may be a young set designer! Members of the Young Set Designers Collective will learn the basics of set design while designing AND creating the set for the KidCo production of Aristocats Kids. This class will not end with an informance, though the students' work will instead be displayed during the KidCo performance on May 24th. Students CAN register for both the Young Set Designers Collective and KidCo.

Students will learn the basics of music and movement while dancing, singing, and playing with one another. Additionally, participants will work on their own, in partners, or in groups to solve puzzles, games, and mysteries throughout each class! If your child enjoys suspenseful games like hide and seek they’ll have a blast in Music, Movement, and…Mystery?

Young Choreographers Collective ( Ages 8-13) Can’t keep your toes from tapping? Do you enjoy coming up with dances and teaching them to others? Come learn the basic elements of dance (body, action, space, time, and energy) and discover how to manipulate them to create exciting and original choreography! Students will work together to choreograph a group number, with each choreographer taking the lead on a section. No formal dance experience is required, just a desire to move and create!

Young Comic Book Creators Collective( Ages 10-16) Intended for students interested in all things comic books we now have the Young Comic Book Creators Collective! Through comic strips to graphic novels to manga students will explore literary examples from different cultures and time periods to gather research and inspiration. Students will create their own comics with the support and feedback of their peers before bringing elements of them to life with their acting skills!

Mansions, Mysteries and… Murders!( Ages 8-13) Lovers of Clue, Nancy Drew, Sherlock Holmes and all things suspicious will find a home in our new Mansions, Mysteries, and…Murders! class. Students will hone their investigative skills through various games and activities before becoming characters in a murder mystery written just for them, and up to them to solve! Will all the students fall victim to the murderer? Or will they have the skills to catch the murderer and make it out alive…

Guardians Of Young Children Collective (18+) TCT’s FIRST all adult offering! Designed for the guardians of young children, this collective will offer resources and tools for families to use at home and in the community. Learn to bring storytime to life through vocal acting skills, interactive reading techniques, puppeteering (you get to keep a puppet!), and resources on access to free books. Each week you’ll receive reciprocal coping skills for both you and your young one - then have the opportunity to come back the following week and share how they worked or ask for more resources. In addition to the resources and skills offered formally, you’ll also have the opportunity to form a community with other guardians in similar situations with similar concerns.
