The Revue is proud to present the Canadian Premiere of LEONORA IN THE MORNING LIGHT, followed by a special post-screening Q&A with the film's filmmakers Lena Vurma & Thor Klein. This screening also marks the first stop on the film's North American Q&A tour, before the filmmakers continue to audiences in New York, Arizona, New Mexico, and beyond.

Today, Carrington stands among the highest-selling female artists in history, alongside legends like Frida Kahlo and Georgia O'Keeffe, yet her remarkable story remains one that deserves to be discovered by even wider audiences.
Leonora Carrington, an outstanding figure of surrealism, along with Frida Kahlo, was one of Mexico's most famous painters. As the long-time partner of Max Ernst and close friend of André Breton and Jean Miró, she continually struggles with her visionary imagination, which often triggers serious psychological crises.
