The spirit of rock legends The Grateful Dead lives on in a new documentary titled SUMMER TOUR. Directed by Mischa Richter the film follows the Dead Head community on Dead & Company's final 2023 tour.
Beautifully shot on 16mm, the documentary focuses on young Dead Heads Annie and Jerry as they adventure across America in their rickety camper van. Richter heartwarmingly captures the young couple living the Dead Head traditions and way of life. Making and selling goods, playing music and continuously dancing, as they make just enough money to travel from show to show.
