Between 1946 and 1958, the United States conducted 67 known nuclear weapons tests on Bikini and Enewetak Atolls in the Marshall Islands, at the time the largest nuclear detonations in human history. Decades later, thousands of Marshallese survivors and their descendants now call the United States home, and one of the largest such communities has settled on the plains of Enid, Oklahoma, thousands of miles from the islands they once knew. Executive produced by Academy Award winning documentarian Errol Morris, 67 Bombs to Enid is an intimate, character driven documentary that weaves together first-hand accounts of the detonations with testimony from the generation born after, tracing displacement, generational trauma, and a community's insistence on joy and cultural pride in one of the unlikeliest of American towns.
