40th Anniversary! New 4K Restoration!
To celebrate its 20th Anniversary, an evil Ninja empire orders their top three students to retrieve the Golden Ninja Warrior—a magical statue said to bestow its owner with invincibility to blades—but can that much power be trusted in the hands of their Supreme Ninja leader? Probably not! Believing their Ninja Empire must be restored to its former glory, the three students each flee with a piece of the statue while Interpol agent—Jaguar Wong—struggles to ensure the statue's power is used for good and not evil.
From the cut-and-paste wonder factory that is IFD Films and Arts, Godfrey Ho infamously reused footage he shot of the late American actor Richard Harrison—known for spaghetti Westerns and sword-and-sandal films—into not just Ninja Terminator but at least 20 other similarly Ninja-titled films. With the rights to countless Korean, Taiwanese, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese films in their archive, Godfrey Ho and producer Joseph Lai came up with the brilliant idea to splice quickly shot Ninja-footage into different parts of these films using Caucasian actors to help sell them for the International market. Now with a brand new restoration from Neon Eagle Video, we can experience the magic of multi-coloured ninjas—with headbands that say NINJA on them—and the iconic Garfield phone scene in beautiful, stunning 4K.
