Description

Dusky Waters is the nom de plume of Jenn Jeffers, a contemporary Americana songwriter and musician whose work bridges the rich musical traditions of the South with a modern, genre-defying sound. As the Executive Director and Co-Founder of BlackAmericana Fest, she is at the forefront of fostering a more inclusive roots music landscape. Her evocative songwriting and compelling performances have earned critical acclaim, with audiences lauding her ability to craft deeply personal yet universally resonant songs. Reimagining Americana, her music honors tradition while forging a new path that reflects the magic, mourning, and ever-evolving spirit of the South.
