35MM Presentation!
Meet Nico Toscani—Italian immigrant, Chicago policeman, and 6th degree black belt in Aikido. Rumor has it he was even recruited by the CIA during the Vietnam War for covert operations near the Cambodian border. While investigating a drug ring with links to a corrupt CIA agent from his past, Toscani will have break as many bones as it takes to show that no one… is ABOVE THE LAW.
Directed by Andrew Davis (THE FUGITIVE) and starring Pam Grier (JACKIE BROWN), Sharon Stone (TOTAL RECALL) with poliziotteschi-staple Henry Silva (GHOST DOG: WAY OF THE SAMURAI), ABOVE THE LAW not only launched Steven Seagal’s “acting” career but also introduced audiences to the Japanese martial art of Aikido and the very strange way Seagal looks while running.
