Crucial to the storytelling is production designer Adam Stockhausen and set decorator Anna Pinnock’s Academy Award-winning work, which transforms a vacant German department store into several iterations of the eponymous hotel, across three meticulously distinct design eras. No detail is too small in this exquisite, evolving world.
