Stuart Simpson’s Chocolate Strawberry Vanilla is a strange character study, flaunting wicked humor and mounting unease. Warren (Glenn Maynard) is an ice cream man; he lives alone with his cat and tunes in daily to his favorite soap opera. However, after an awful accident, Warren’s life begins to spiral out of control. He becomes dangerously obsessed with his favorite soap star, a local drug dealer starts muscling in on his patch, and his sanity begins to disintegrate alarmingly. Crazy Glue is a story about some very unusual glue, and its extraordinary bonding properties for a couple whose relationship has lost its magic.

She’s worried her husband is becoming a junk collector. When he turns up with a super glue bottle, his wife has to wonder why he must purchase one more useless item. Meet the couple: nameless and loveless, unhappily married, bored. As he begins to suspect an affair, she returns home one day to find him missing and everything else … well, firmly and permanently in place. Is it just her, or has the situation gotten sticky in here? Directed by Elizabeth Orne. Official Selection at the 2011 Telluride Film Festival and shortlisted for the 2011 Student Academy Award. Based on a short story by Etgar Keret (The Girl on the Fridge).
