A sneak peek of this new work-in-progress film from the director of Angel Azul (SFGFF 2014). Dirt Rich explores strategies around the world to prevent runaway global warming - and soil could be the surprising answer. By drawing carbon out of the atmosphere and back to the soil, we have the means to grow our way to a healthier future.

Additional Information

Marcelina Cravat, trained at The Berkeley Digital Film Institute and Art Center College of Design. Dirt Rich is her fourth documentary. Making a transition from photography to film came later in life when her love for storytelling motivated her to return to school to pursue a career as a writer/director. Upon graduating she co-founded ARTiDOCs, a small production company specializing in portrait style documentaries on artists. Her previous film, Angel Azul, premiered at the 2014 SF Green Film Festival.
