The roof is definitely torn off the Mothership in Bobby J. Brown’s revealing documentary. The film follows the group from their doo-wop era in the 1950's to the pinnacle of stardom in the late 1970's with the Mothership Connection tour. During this tour, a space ship would land on stage and cause total crowd pandemonium. The film journeys to their dissolution of the group and then the reunion for the induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. -Jennifer Morris
