Description

Room 213 is a genuinely scary ghost story taking place the summer after sixth grade at a coed Swedish camp in the countryside. When Elvira, Meja, and Bea must bunk in the camp’s haunted Room 213, where no one has stayed for 60 years, inexplicable, and possibly supernatural events start to happen, especially in the middle of the night. The girls join forces to investigate who has been messing with their belongings and writing secret messages from beyond the grave, as well as to suss out whose crushes will be realized and who will have their first kiss at the camp dance.

Coming-of-age excitement blends with ghostly mischief, requiring steady nerves, courage and gumption. It may come as no surprise that this is easier said than done when paranormal mayhem adds suspense and horrors to their group dynamics.

Recommended for ages 11+
