The hunt for revenge turns a young woman into a shade of not only herself, but the man who wronged her family. This sophomore feature from director Laura Mora introduces us to the bright and naïve Lita, an art student from Medellin who has, until now, escaped the darker reaches of her environment. While they’re driving home, her beloved father is shot dead by a hitman who escapes into the shadows.
The aftermath, including the following police investigation, leaves Lita with no closure and certainly no justice. Renaming herself Paula, she tracks down the killer, Jesus, with the intent of retrieving the murder weapon. In doing so she steps into his shadowy world and discovers that things may not be as black and white as she once believed.
