Description

A gripping thriller that will leave audiences spellbound, The Guilty is first-time feature director Gustav Möller’s rendition of a mystery flick infused with an unbound intelligence.

As the film opens, we meet Asger Holm, a police officer temporarily assigned to dispatching. While on the job, he gets an emergency call from a woman who has been kidnapped. Before he can assess the situation, the call disconnects and Asgar is left without answers. Determined to save the woman, Asgar begins his own search for her and her kidnapper, but his intervention reveals a much larger picture, not only of the kidnapped woman but also of Asgar.

The Guilty opened to critical acclaim for its fresh take on the thriller genre, and is sure to be remembered as a star-making turn for Möller.

Press

"You wouldn’t expect a film set in real time would have much space for A and B storylines, yet The Guilty braids them rather deftly, cluing us ever more..." - Variety
