Description

In New York, 1980, two young men, Edward Galland and Robert Shafran, met by coincidence as students at the same community college, thereby discovering they shared rather unique relations—they were twins. After their story went public, the two were hit by another spectacular discovery, and soon they were the delight of every television talk show in the country. To say more at this point would be to spoil half the fun of this edge-of-your-seat, stranger-than-fiction real-life mystery. As crafted by seasoned filmmaker Tim Wardle, the film brilliantly tracks the ins and outs of this extraordinary story. Even more impressive, is how it traces and registers the emotional toll that the story took on those at the center of it.
