Description

Special Guest Hynek Pallas Attending

This documentary feature from Jane Magnusson and Hynek Pallas highlights the legacy of Ingmar Bergman’s career through the eyes of a group of filmmakers, creatives and artists inspired by his work. “Trespassing” into Bergman’s home, the filmmakers gather together to share their own experiences with the filmmaker’s collection of work, all arguably masterpieces, and what the films meant to them and the wider world of cinema.

The house itself was built by Bergman and stands on the idyllic Baltic Sea island of Fårö. Featuring the voices of artists and creatives such as Alejandro González Iñárritu, Michael Haneke, Claire Denis, Wes Craven, Martin Scorsese, Wes Anderson, Tomas Alfredson, Claire Denis, Holly Hunter, Laura Dern and many others, Trespassing Bergman is both an exploration of the esteemed filmmaker’s work and a look at the stories, creations and careers his legacy has influenced.
