In 2015, in response to the Syrian refugee crisis, Hisham Bizri began a partnership with Jordan’s Royal Film Commission to give masterclasses and oversee production of documentaries made by filmmakers chronicling life in Amman and in the Zaatari refugee camp. The Documentary Film Studio was born, where these four short docs were made by first-time Arab filmmakers.
