THEY SAID TO GET BETTER

A group of high school friends, who came together through their experiences running the school's radio station, meet for the first time in four years after the death of a close friend. Told between two timelines - past and present - they realize they have all gone through changes and might have outgrown one another, which may be for the best. Produced by Two Steps to the Left Productions and filmed entirely in Iowa City, THEY SAID TO GET BETTER is directed by University of Iowa graduate Henry Parizek. A Q&A with Parizek and actors Chris Walbert and Rachel Sather, and composer Patrick O'Connor will follow the film.

Director Henry Parizek is a director, writer, producer and actor, as well as a songwriter, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist performing under the name Fine. He is currently located in Iowa City, IA, where he works as a member of the production company Two Steps to the Left, and runs a recording studio out of his home. THEY SAID TO GET BETTER is his feature-length directorial debut. Henry is currently executive producing the upcoming web-series Errands, set to be released summer 2018.
