A strange, glowing fog rolls over a small coastal town one hundred years after a mysterious shipwreck and when vengeful ghosts go on a killing spree, residents look for answers even as they try to survive. Director John Carpenter’s follow-up to his landmark horror film Halloween was The Fog, a spooky tale most noted for its atmosphere. According to Eric Di Bernardo, Rialto Pictures’ distributor of sales, the film “has been our most requested title for as long as we have handled the StudioCanal library [in the U.S.]” Now fans of Carpenter have a chance to final watch the cult film in a splendid 4K restoration.
