Description

The Film Society is partnering with the New York International Children’s Film Festival to offer a new Spanish-language program of animated, documentary, and live action films full of warmth, wit, and the cultural richness of our friends and neighbors to the south: Mexico. Drawn from NYICFF’s annual Friends and Neighbors program spotlighting a different country every year, this lineup is co-curated with Mexico’s Morelia International Film Festival. All films are in Spanish with English subtitles or no dialogue, perfect for Spanish learners, speakers, and all seekers of fun, artistic, and enriching cultural experiences, ages 7+.

Sinopsis española

La Sociedad Fímica en colaboración con el Festival Internacional de Cine Infantil de Nueva York presentan un programa de cortometrajes animados,documentales y de ficción, llenos de calidez, ingenio y la riqueza cultural de México. Tomado del programa anual “Friends and Neighbors” del NYICFF en el que cada año se dedica a un país diferente, esta selección se ha curado en colaboración con el Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia, en México. Todas las películas están habladas en español, con subtítulos en inglés, o sin diálogo, haciendo de este programa una ocasión perfecta para estudiantes de español como segunda lengua, y para todos lo que buscan divertidas, artísticas y enriquecedoras experiencias culturales. Para niños de 7 años o más.
